Temperatures in the regions of the polar ice caps are rising rapidly... Twice as much as ANYWWHERE else in the world...
The size of the summer polar ice cap has decreased by more than 20% in the last 35 years!
The largest ice block in the Arctic had existed for 3,000 years before it began to crack in 2000. Now it is breaking into pieces due to global warming.
If global warming continues to melt the ice caps at this rate, Arctic summers could be ice-free by the end of the century!
Villages along Arctic coastlines are in serious danger of flooding due to rising sea levels...
